THE MID SOUTH COVID-19 POLICY
To attend The Mid South, all attendees including registered participants, support crew, sponsors, volunteers and staff are required to present proof of vaccination or a COVID negative test taken within 72 hours of arrival to the event at check in.
Masks will be expected to be worn when indoors or when social distancing is not possible. Masks will be expected to be worn at the mass start.
The Mid South reserves the right to modify the COVID - 19 safety guidelines and we thank you for your cooperation to ensure the safety of our community and participants.
The Mid South will be sending COVID-19 updates and reminders to ensure awareness of the 2022 protocol leading up to event weekend on March 10-12th, 2022.
Registered participants:
must present proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative test at check-in. A state issued ID will also be required. A photo of the vaccination card or a screen shot of the test result accepted.
who fail to provide proof of vaccination or negative test will not be permitted to check in, pick up their packets, or participate in the event.

While registering, participants were required to check a box that indicates they understand that they are required to submit proof of vaccination or a negative test at check-in. Two doses of the Moderna NIAID or Pfizer BioNTech vaccination, or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccination, must have been received at least two weeks before race day (no later than Feb. 26, 2022). Vaccinations are considered to be fully effective two weeks after being administered. Alternatively, a COVID-19 test must be completed within three days of race day (test must be administered between March 9-11, 2022). Rapid tests are available at local drugstores. If you plan to be traveling during this time, schedule a testing appointment in Stillwater.
Test results may be officially documented from the testing agency. Digital results from self-tests will also be accepted.
Vaccination status does not impact an individual’s chances of being selected by the Randomizer.
